Very attractive Oyster- like shells from the Frodingham Ironstone. The shells are highly polished calcite and chamosite on a rough ironstone matrix. The matrix has been cut to form a base for these pieces.

Large, spiralling gastropod shell. Preserved as external moulds in fine sandstone.

Highly fossiliferous limestone from Franklin County, Indiana. These have been carefully prepared to show between 3 and 4 brachiopods e.g strophomena, rafesquina. Other brachiopods, bryozoa and various fragments identifiable.
